Mr. Kinne, Managing Director at GSP and Co-Founder and CEO of AXCS Capital has arranged in excess of $4BB in total capitalized value of complex debt and equity financings. Recent notable transactions that Evan and his team have completed include several large-scale hospitality developments, multifamily, industrial and mixed-use projects that required multiple capital sources and substantial financial structure.

Prior to joining the firm, Evan was a Vice President at Watertower Group, a boutique advisory focused on dynamic and innovative companies shaping technology, consumer internet and digital media. Evan has advised over 20 internet, technology, and media companies on series A-D equity capital formation and M&A. Evan’s other experience includes: Director of Business Development at RadPad, an LA based venture capital backed Real Estate technology company, and several other early stage and venture capital backed companies. Evan started his business career as an accountant.

Evan received his MBA from UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management and focused on Real Estate Finance coursework. For fun, Evan enjoys being outdoors, skiing, cycling, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two children. He has been involved in endurance mountain bike racing for over 25 years, completing many races, including the famous Leadville 100 multiple times.

David A. Shapiro is a seasoned investment professional with over 35 years of expertise in real estate investing, lending, and joint venture structuring. He has a proven track record of managing and advising on complex portfolios across private and public markets, including real estate mutual funds, hedge funds, and strategic equity investments. His deep understanding of real estate operating fundamentals and arbitrage opportunities between public and private real estate assets has consistently delivered value to clients and stakeholders.

Currently serving as a Senior Advisor and Board Member, Mr. Shapiro provides strategic guidance to commercial real estate operating service companies, funds, and fund managers. His leadership has been instrumental in scaling platforms, restructuring balance sheets, and leveraging preferred equity and mezzanine finance vehicles for optimal outcomes. Previously, he held senior roles at JMP Realty Partners, JMP Group, and Seneca Capital Management, where he led investments across diverse real estate verticals, including multifamily, office, retail, and self-storage. 

Mr. Shapiro began his career managing West Coast equity investments and real estate lending for ADCO Group and its affiliated bank, Riverbank America. His comprehensive education includes a Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from Columbia University. He is also a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
